You’ve probably never heard about Bezvodne, a small Ukrainian village in the south, approximately 30 km from the border with Moldova,
What makes this village special are refugees from Mauripol, Kharkiv, Severodonetsk, and other cities in Ukraine. Over thirty families settled down in abandoned houses – about 150 people that had nowhere to go. Through Nina & Andriy, local volunteers in Vinnytsia, we learned that these exhausted people need help with beds, food, personal hygiene items, and more. Flaming Beacon paid them a visit – our driver Sascha was joined by Slaven and Iryna.

The video shows highlights from our visit. We delivered thirty family packages and about twenty packages for kids.
We also delivered beds, mattrasses, and showers – as per request.
